Having a hard time moving on? We've all been there.

Moving on is hard, I know! Especially if your memories just keep on popping up. Whether it's about your ex, job, friends or family.

You are afraid of what's uncertain

You are afraid of uncertainties, you ask questions to yourself and you're afraid of the worst possible outcomes that you do not want to imagine in the first place. When horrible things happen, you just can't accept it.

Nobody knows the future. You can only anticipate.

Do not fear the unknown, accept the uncertainties. Be prepared with whatever outcome you will encounter. And if it happens, suck it up and move on. If life throws you lemons, make a bucket of lemonade. 😀

You are having a hard time accepting

Acceptance is hard. Especially if the result is from your own doing.

Maybe you are trying to blame someone else and pin the guilt on others. Whoever is to blame, it does not matter.

You have to accept it whether it's a problem or a situation. Your current state of mind is all that matters. Clear it up, attend to it first.

You gotta move on as soon as possible. Your brain will take time to process, it's understandable. By all means, move on.

The famous Martin Luther King, Jr. said...

By all means, keep moving.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

It is hard when things just happen in a surprise. And it is especially hard when it wasn't anticipated.

You failed to plan

You simply were just not ready for it. It may not have crossed your mind. Maybe you were just slacking off and enjoying the moments.  You basically just did not plan for it.

Benjamin Franklin said, "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail". Cliché it may sound, but it's absolutely true.

But who would like to imagine breaking up with a girlfriend, losing a loved one, getting fired from work? Well, You should!

Anticipate different outcomes and set plans for the different scenarios. Be proactive, be ready and vigilant. This will help you prepare for the worst scenarios that could happen.

You got to have your life's blueprint in the first place.

Martin Luther King, Jr. suggested 3 things.

  1. Have a deep belief in your own dignity, your own worth. You are someone. You matter. You are significant.
  2. Have the determination to achieve excellence in all your endeavors. You will discover the things that needs to be done. Give it your best with excellence in mind.
  3. Have a commitment to eternal principles of beauty, love and justice.

You must keep moving.

If you can't fly, run.
If you can't run, walk.
If you can't walk, crawl.
but by all means, keep moving.
